Michael Jackson's assistant Michael Amir Williams plays Murray voice mail

The former personal assistant of Michael Jackson, Michael Amir Williams took to the witness stand today in the Conrad Murray trial. One of the major things that was discussed in court today is the fact that Williams played the the voice message that he received from Conrad Murray on June 25, 2009 on the day that Michael Jackson died.

As viewers of the trial are aware, the voice message left on Williams' phone, has a highly distressed Conrad Murray asking for Williams to return his call, but he was never asked by Murray to call 911.

Some important things to note:

  • Williams was in downtown Los Angeles at his home when Murray called him
  • Conrad Murray is heard saying on the message: "Call me right away. Please call me right away. Thank you."
  • Williams heard the voice message from Conrad Murray and then called back -- Murray then told him to get to send someone to Michael Jackson's home immediately
  • The paramedics was at Michael Jackson's home when Williams arrived

One major thing that has people wondering, is why did Conrad Murray call Michael Jackson's assistant - Williams - and not the paramedics? The second day of the trial proved to be filled with much testimony from the witnesses, and fans around the world are wishing the Jackson family all the best as they move forward in the Conrad Murray trial.
