Dr. Conrad Murray's lead defense lawyer, Ed Chernoff, wants to raise Michael Jackson from the dead and has already sought and received permission to re-test some Jackson tissue samples that were removed from Michael during a previous autopsy. The tissue samples had been frozen for potential need later. But that additional testing may not be enough, according to a source close to the family: Michael's body may have to be exhumed as well.
News of the World quoted a friend of the Jackson family as saying, "This is a horrifying situation the family has been dreading."
Dr. Murray, charged with the singer's death, is in a battle with the legal system to prove his treatment of the Pop King Michael Jackson was not, ultimately, the reason the singer died. But an exhumation of Michael's body might be the next thing on the defense wish list to that end if tissues testing proves inconclusive or conflicting.
"If the tests don't concur with the coroner's findings, they have the start of a strong defense. The logical next step would be to exhume the body to make new tests," a family friend has been quoted as saying, according to Daily News and Analysis.
Michael Jackson fans and family are celebrating the deceased pop king's 50th birthday today, Sunday, Aug. 29th, and it is highly unlikely talk of exhuming the late singer would be met with anything but anger and sadness by them. Exhumation of a body is performed as a last resort, and it is not allowed in all cases.
Dr. Conrad Murray, scheduled to appear for trial next year in the singer's untimely death due to an alleged overdose of Propofol, continues to maintain his innocence, however. Murray's attorneys are attempting to have Michael Jackson's earlier autopsy discounted by claiming the King of Pop died due to other drug use unrelated to Dr. Murray's medical administrations. A charge of involuntary manslaughter was made against the cardiologist and now Michael Jackson's exhumation may be the only way to finally put to rest the case once and for all against the doctor--or cement his guilt. But it is Michael Jackson's children and family who will be the ones to suffer most from his exhumation, a final degradation to the memory of the King of Pop.

In the eyes of the public and God the doctor was negligent and should face the consequences. Why is it other doctors and nurses who have overdosed their non-celebrity patients with propofol have been imprisoned but not Michael's doctor? Everyone must ask themselves this., Who is trying to coverup what happened on June 25, 2009?
Michael deserves justice for all the wrongs against him since the first FALSE allegations in the 90's. I am keeping the faith that in the end God will shed his light and the TRUTH will prevail.

It makes me cry to read this. Michael's once beautiful dancer's body has been sliced, diced and drilled by the first autopsy. Well when do we find out if they are going to raise MJ or not? This story just leaves us hanging. Give us some dates of when the tests will be done and when a decision will be made to exhume the "body" or not please. He's ain't gettin' any younger in the grave ya know. Everyone already knows that coffin is empty and the memorial and funeral was only symbolic of what the media and corrupt officials did to him anyway so let's get on with it already!
