Michael Jackson news update: MJ's glove sold, 'This is It' debuts and more

It has been quite a busy weekend filled with Michael Jackson news. First and foremost, everyone is eagerly anticipating the midnight release of the self-titled single from the documentary 'This is It'. Information on a 43-second snippet of the song, was leaked onto the internet yesterday. TMZ has now uploaded the song to their website and can be heard here.  Judging from the snippet, 'This is It' is sure to be another hit. As fans wait for the full song to debut tonight, they also continue to wait for the release of the documentary on October 28, and advanced screenings on October 27. Tickets can be purchased at Thisisit-movie.com.

In other news, Michael Jackson's glove that he wore on the 1984 Victory Tour was sold at auction for $70,800.

Senior editor at Forbes magazine, Matthew Miller commented on the fact that Michael Jackson's children are set to inherit a great deal of money, and rightly so. The Daily Star quotes Miller as having said: “I don’t think they’ll ever have to work a day in their lives." E! Entertainment will be broadcasting a new program entitled, Michael Jackson: Where’s The Money? The documentary allegedly "will reveal only 20% of the songs recorded by the King of Pop have ever been released." The prospect of hearing even more unreleased material from MJ is very exciting as fans are eager to show their appreciation, and keep his memory alive through his music.
