There is nothing Michael Jackson couldn't do. One is only limited by their imaginations, something that was never an issue of Jackson whose creativity knew no boundaries. In a new interview, the director of 'This Is It' Kenny Ortega talks Michael Jackson and his hopes of bringing a 3-D, full-length 'Thriller' feature to fruition.
Ortega says:
"He told me he wanted to create a partnership with me to do films. We were talking about doing Legs Diamond. And we were talking about doing a full-length, 3-D feature of ‘Thriller.’ ”
That certainly would have been epic. According Entertainment Weekly, Amy Pascal co-chairman of Sony Pictures reveals:
“A million years ago, when I worked with [then-Columbia Pictures president] Dawn Steel, she and I tried to convince Michael to do a remake of The Red Shoes. Michael’s life became The Red Shoes, I’m afraid.”
The Red Shoes is a story about a ballet dancer whose shoes compell her to dance and ultimately results in her death.
