Michael Jackson’s life was "Celebrated" shortly after he was laid to rest in a beautiful sunset service at Forest Lawn’s “Great Mausoleum”. The “Celebration of Life” was held after the ceremony, and was attended by close friends, and family of the “King of Pop”.
Reportedly the whole party was filmed, and may be featured on the upcoming “Jackson Family Reality Show” on A&E. The gathering was held at an Villa Sorriso Ristorante in Pasadena eight miles away. A A restaurant spokesperson stated that Randy Jackson had reserved the restaurant for the private event several days ago. Conspicuously absent from the celebration, were parents Joe and Katherine Jackson, and Jackson's close friend and confidant Elizabeth Taylor who also declined to attend.

Sources say the party seemed to have had a “Rat Pack” theme, since “Rat Pack” style music played all night while the classic film "Casablanca" was projected onto the walls.
