Michael J. Fox wouldn't want Taylor Swift to date his son

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were hilarious when they hosted the Golden Globes awards, poking fun at everyone but never sounding mean. There was one point where they might have touched a nerve when they told Taylor Swift to keep away from Michael J. Fox's son. However, Zap2it.com reported on Jan. 17 that Fox agrees with their sentiment and wouldn't want his son to date Swift.

"I don't keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career," Fox quipped while appearing at a book signing this week.

It is a true statement.

Taylor Swift has dated Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Connor Kennedy and Harry Styles from 2008 until now. Currently she is single once again after Styles broke up with her. Out of those relationships, she has wrote songs about a number of the boys.

Swift wrote "Forever and Always" and "The Story of Us" about Joe Jonas, "Back to December" about Taylor Lautner, "Dear John" about John Mayer, and "All too Well" about Jake Gyllenhaal. The Kennedy and Styles relationships are still fresh, but Lautner tweeted recently that she was back in the studio and offhandedly mentioned the breakup with Styles.

Michael J. Fox may say he doesn't know much about Taylor Swift, even saying he wouldn't know her if he saw her, but he knows enough.

"I wouldn't even know who she was," Fox said when asked what he would do if his son Sam brought Swift home for dinner. But then Fox said when he heard a song on the radio proclaiming "'Sam, you piece of s***' -- oh, that was the girl you brought home?"
