Tonight in Berlin, Germany the celebration of German entertainment has the countrymen watching television. The 46th Golden Camera Awards have Michael J Fox and John Travolta meeting fans along the red carpet and picking up an award during the show for fans to watch. The annual event is the typical award show with over 5 million people watching to see the celebrities. Offering up 14 different awards, the evening honors the contributions in film, TV and music.
Two of Tinseltown’s finest were on the red carpet mingling with fans prior to the ceremony. Michael J. Fox and John Travola took time to sign autographs and take photos with those fans who have waited for hours. Both of the stars were being honored tonight and graced the stage as well.
Michael J. Fox took home the lifetime award the ‘Golden Camera’ for his contribution. Looking healthy and extremely gracious, the entertainer joins other celebrities who took the honor in the past including Clint Eastwood.
John Travolta took home the ‘Best International Actor’ award. Travolta appeared to take quite a bit of time appreciating the fans outside the theater and they didn’t mind one bit.
