One of the biggest stars in television and film throughout the 80s and 90s Michael J. Fox left his last series Spin City in 2001 due to his battle with Parkinson’s disease and has since only been making cameos and doing voice over work. Now after being gone for far too long, Fox is taking on his first regular lead role in his new TV series The Michael J. Fox show and he’s bringing his life with him.
The series follows one of New York’s most beloved news anchors who put his career on hold to spend more time with his family and to focus on his health after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Now after a 5 year hiatus he is returning to his old job and back to juggling home, family, career and his disease all while being better than ever.
The series also stars Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), Juliette Goglia (CSI), Conor Romero (American Gangster), Jack Gore (30 Rock), Katie Finneran (Wonderfalls), Wendell Pierce (The Wire), and Ana Nogueira (Blue Bloods).
Do not miss out on the return of an icon when The Michael J. Fox show premieres on September 26th on NBC.
