Actor Michael J. Fox is speaking out and admitting that he used alcohol to cope with his Parkinson's disease. On Sept. 26, Hollywood Life shared what Michael had to say about his disease. This all went down on "The Howard Stern Show." Howard has a way of getting people to admit things.
Michael admits that when he first learned about the disease that he drank in excess to deal with it. This actor has four children at home. He shares that he used to drink to party but then he started drinking alone. This went on for several months, but then he realized that he needed help and luckily he was smart enough to get it.
He says that his wife Tracy Pollan helped to get him straight. Fox now has moved on to his own show which is called "The Michael J. Fox Show" and airs new episodes each week on NBC. This show premiered last week with great ratings and already has a lot of fans. This one is worth setting the DVR.
