Michael Irvin, accused of raping a woman, has filled a countersuit.

Irvin has now filed a $100 million lawsuit against the woman who has accused him of rape.

Michael Irvin has been hosting an ESPN radio show. ESPN has announced Irvin's show has now been canceled. ESPN has not openly admitted the rape allegations have anything to do with his show being canceled.

Tonight ESPN released a statement on the firing of Irvin:

"His contract was up and the show has not performed,"

Also, "We had previously decided to cancel the show and determined this morning to make it effective today. The permanent replacement begins at 11 a.m. CT [Friday]"

Irvin's lawsuit claims that because of the civil suit filled by his accuser, he has now been fired from his ESPN radio job. In Irvin's lawsuit it states "This is nothing more than a thinly veiled effort to carry out Plaintiff's extortion plot while capitalizing on the media circus that is Super Bowl weekend,"
