Michael Hastings, a fearless mainstream journalist, died in a mysterious, three-explosion, car crash in Los Angeles in the early morning hours of June 18, 2013. Hastings was the victim of a single-car crash that occurred about 4:25 a.m. in the 600 block of North Highland Avenue. The vehicle crossed a median, struck a tree and burst into flames in the Hancock Park area. His death continues to generate questions.

Hastings is known for an article he wrote for Rolling Stone magazine in which he exposed General McChrystal’s attitudes toward his Commander in Chief, resulting in the general’s dismissal.

Details are emerging that Hastings, who wasn't afraid to rail against the system or the establishment, was on the verge of breaking an important news story, and he believed he was being investigated by the FBI.

According to San Diego 6 News reporter Kimberly Dvorak (video), there were three explosions in the accident, and there may have also been a pre-explosion under Hastings car.

Dvorak says, "The first one is most likely a normal explosion, but investigators have told me, through discussions and looking at the video (above) over and over, the second or third explosions aren't indicative of a normal car accident."

The plot thickens!

Hastings contacted WikiLeaks lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, just a few hours before he died, saying that the FBI was investigating him. Additionally, Staff Sgt. Joseph Biggs, who had known Hastings since 2008 when the journalist was embedded in Afghanistan, told KTLA that he was blind copied on an Email Hastings sent to colleagues on Monday around 1 p.m. It read:

“The Feds are interviewing my close friends and associates. Perhaps if the authorities arrive, BuzzFeed GQ, er HQ, may be wise to immediately request legal counsel before any conversations or interviews about our news-gathering practices or related journalism issues. I'm onto a big story, and need to go off the radar for a bit.”

According to San Diego News 6, the Los Angeles police department has refused requests for information, except for 9-1-1 calls moments after the car exploded, a request answered only with summaries, not the actual 9-1-1 call transcripts.

Per the Zetas of ZetaTalk, "it was murder," as Hastings was going to reveal the hands responsible for the cover-up. As reported in the ZetaTalk Newsletter, Sunday July 14, 2013,

  • Only hours before his death to told a friend he had to “go off the radar” as he had a big lead and feared the FBI was investigating him.
  • Witnesses reported seeing the car fly through a red light at 100 mph (now confirmed by a surveillance video). It seemed out of control and suddenly jack-knifed sideways.
  • As modern cars have gas tanks under rear seats to avoid explosions, in order for a car to explode, it must be hit from the side.
  • Hastings car was an electronically controlled vehicle, for instance, to affect parallel parking. Thus, a takeover of the accelerator, steering, and braking could be rigged.
  • All evidence of tampering, including a bomb, would have been incinerated in the “three-explosion” fire.

Now, even former White House counter-terrorism expert Richard Clarke says Hastings may have been a victim of a cyber-car attack.

ZetaTalk Comment 6/22/2013: Hastings was murdered, an end he frankly expected at some point due to his aggressive investigative reporting. He received a warning and, thus, at an odd hour he was trying to change locations, fleeing. His car had been tampered with so the car would accelerate and then torque sideways to crash or flip, timed to be accompanied by a bomb that caused his fiery death.

What was he working on that his death was arranged at this time? Given his track record, he was unlikely to back away from the inside stories on the cover-up over Planet X (Nibiru).

Was Hastings silenced before the story could break? Normal accident? Assassination? Cyber-car attack? You be the judge of that!
