Michael Fassbender spotted passionately kissing Naomi Campbell (+VIDEO)

It seems that Michael Fassbender and Naomi Campbell are currently involved in a passionate romance. This is confirmed by several sources close to the British supermodel. On Tuesday of last week, 43-year-old Naomi Campbell and Michael Fassbender, 37, dined together at the Coya restaurant in London's Mayfair. While seated in a private area, some customers could see them kissing passionately, Yahoo! News reported today. Before their meeting, Naomi was attending the opening of a fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, then later left for "a date," according to guests.

Customers who were there confirmed that although they were in a private area of the restaurannt, they could see the two swapping spit while exchanging affectionate hugs.

Until now, Campbell had not connected with anyone since she called it quits with Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin.

That same week, Fassbender had traveled to London to record a program for the BBC. The "12 Years a Slave" star is said to have been romancing his co-star in the film, Lupita Nyong'o, on and off in recent months, but the Irish actor later denied these claims.

Michael Fassbender has become, in recent years, one of the top actors in Hollywood. Born to an Irish mother and German father, Michael Fassbender came into the world on April 2, 1977. Though born in West Germany, he moved to Ireland as a child because his family owned a restaurant.

He studied at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, and he started his career as an actor in television with the award-winning miniseries "Band of Brothers," with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks as executive producers.

His first film was "300" (2006), Zack Snyder, where he played Stelios. The following year he appeared in the film "Angel," directed by François Ozon. His first starring role was in the film directed by Steve McQueen, "Hunger" (2008).

Other memorable films he has made appearance in are "Inglourious Basterds" (2009), by Quentin Tarantino; "Jonah Hex" (2010), Jimmy Hayward; "X-Men: First Class" (2011), Matthew Vaughn; "A Dangerous Method" (2011), David Cronenberg; and "Shame" (2011).

His latest films include "Prometheus" (2012), and he recently starred in the Oscar winning "12 Years a Slave."
