Well, not the revolutionary hero, we lost him in 1922. But the modern day Irish Ambassador Michael Collins is visiting the Denver area to promote economic exchange between Ireland & Colorado (like travel), to enhance educational links between Colorado based institutions & Ireland and reach out to the Irish & Irish-American community in Colorado.
Ambassador Collins will be speaking November 3rd at 5 pm on several diverse topics that include “Ireland-On the Road to Recovery”. He will touch on the signs of hope that are emerging from the Irish economy, while taking questions from the audience.
This event is open to the public but registration is required. Jim Lyons, Ireland's Honorary Consul for Denver, will be hosting the event at the offices of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP, 1200 17th St., Suite 3000 in Denver.
