Michael Buble has confirmed title and release details for his upcoming studio album and leadoff single.
According to a news release posted today at Michael Buble’s official website, the Canadian crooner will release his sixth studio album, “To Be Loved,” on April 22 in Canada and April 23 in the U.S. with the first single, "It's A Beautiful Day," set for release on Feb. 25.
Produced by Bob Rock, “To Be Loved” was recorded in the 37-year-old singer’s hometown of Vancouver, BC, as well as Los Angeles, and includes a mix of standards along with four original songs, which were each co-written by the “Haven’t Met You Yet” hitmaker.
Commenting on the making of the album, Buble says, “My new record is about love, happiness, fun and yummy things. Getting to work with my friend and longtime collaborator Bob Rock who produced the entire album was very exciting. We’re a good team. I love the songs we selected this time out.”
Buble has posted three video clips featuring previews of the album’s first single.
