Dreams do come true. Chelsea Herbert attended a Michael Bublé concert holding a sign that said “Let me sing with you, Mr. Bublé.” It is something Herbert says she has wanted to do since she was in high school. Her desire came true when Bublé saw the sign and invited her up on stage, according to an NBC report on Friday.

Hebert, 21, attended the concert on Wednesday night at Hartford’s XL Center. Having fortunately gotten a seat close to the stage, she made her sign and took it to the concert. Not only did Bublé see the sign and invite her up on stage, but he let her pick the song they would sing. She chose “Feeling Good,” a song she said she had practiced for days before the concert – just in case Bublé would invite her to sing with him.

The performance was tremendous with the surprisingly great voice of Herbert. The event turned out so well, in fact, that many have been skeptical of the incident being planted by Bublé and his people. However, Herbert swears that the entire episode was spontaneous.

Though Herbert has had no professional training, she has experience as having sung in her high school’s South Windsor High School’s Show Choir and now performs as a member of Southern Connecticut State University’s Jubilee Gospel Choir. She is currently a senior at SCSU, majoring in psychology, but would love to have a career involving her God-given musical talent. She said she prays that this can turn into something for her musical career.
