Michael Brown read Genesis and Revelation with his stepmother before he died

The funeral of Michael Brown was held at Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO according to HLN, and thousands of mourners attended along with major celebrities, and Activist, Rev. Al Sharpton. During the remarks, Michael Brown's stepmother, Cal Brown revealed conversations with him and how he grew from a boy to a man in her time with him.

Brown's stepmother met him when he was 16, and stated that he became her "best friend." Just months before Brown was shot by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo, the two read the books of Genesis and Revelation, in the Bible, together. She shared how, "Mike Mike," as she endearingly called him, showed an interest in God and wanting to know more about God.

With Michael Brown, Sr. by her side in the pulpit of Friendly Temple M.B.C., the stepmother gave a detailed account of, what she believes as, Brown's prophecy of his own death. The step mom goes on to say that Michael talked about seeing bloody sheets and death in his dreams. Michael expressed to his step mom that he thought she was not going to live after she was admitted to the hospital and had been there for testing. As life would have it, Michael Brown was speaking of his own death, without even knowing he would be the one covered by bloody sheets on Camden street in Ferguson, Mo.

Other leaders and speakers from around the country were in attendance at the funeral: Rev. Jesse Jackson, Senator Claire McCaskill, T.D. Jakes, Martin King, III, Bernice King, Dr. Jamal Bryant, Spike Lee, Tom Joyner, P Diddy, Snoop Dog (Lion), Trayvon Martin's parents, bishops and pastors supported the televised funeral of Michael Brown.

The Rev. Michael Jones, pastor of Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church was the host in charge of services held for 18-year-old Michael Brown of Ferguson, who was shot at least six times unarmed by a Ferguson police officer, Darren Wilson. Our prayers continue for the Brown family, Michael Brown's mother, Leslie McSpadden, Ferguson, the police department, Darren Wilson and the justice system.
