Shortly before Christmas, Michael Brewer had his wish granted, as he wanted to be home for Christmas.
On October 12, 2009, our community and country was stunned by the horrific events that brought us to get to know Michael Brewer, 15 years-old. He was doused in rubbing alcohol by other teens and set on fire. Since then, three of the five of the teens accused of this malicious crime, are being tried as adults.
Today the Sun-Sentinel reported that Michael Brewer was sent back to the hospital in serious condition. He was admitted Sunday to Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami, according to hospital spokeswoman Lorraine Nelson. No further details have been released yet.
Our community and many others continue to pray for this family and the support has been overwhelming.
