Michael Bennett's visit to the Dolphins on Thursday must not have gone as well as it could have.
Defensive end Michael Bennett has agreed to a one-year, $5 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
Bennett was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seahawks in 2009. He was then waived and claimed by the Buccaneers.
Bennett's career began with the Buccaneers. He was believed to be one of the hottest pass-rushing commodities in free agency.
In his career, he has 98 tackles, with 15 sacks and 4 forced fumbles.
This signing makes a blow to the already soft market for pass rushers. Young guys at the top of the class are not getting big money, which means less hope for the veterans
