The “Fuitvale Station” star was rumored to play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch for quite awhile. And now it has been confirmed as Jordan confirmed on his Instagram account, first by posting the number four and then writing, “Flame On!”

Also confirming her role in the film is actress Kate Mara who will play Sue Storm/Invisible Girl. On her twitter account she tweeted, “Feeling invisible” followed by #FantasticFour.

Actors Miles Teller and Jamie Bell have also reportedly signed on to star in the film rounding out the four Marvel Comics heroes.

The film would mark the reunion of Jordan and Teller who worked together in the film “That Awkward Moment”. The two are also attached to starring roles in an upcoming untitled heist movie to be directed by Tom Gormican.

The “Fantastic Four” is scheduled to hit theaters in the summer of 2015.
