Looking for a last-minute Valentine's Day option that will knock the socks off your paramour? Old-timey jazz singer Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra are set to perform on Saturday, February 15 at the 5th Annual Sweetheart Soirée with St. Germain.
The elderflower liqueur, a go-to for bartenders, and a popular addition to Champagne cocktails (see recipe below), is a perfect partner for the 1920's-themed jazz dance party. The event takes place at the members-only Norwood Club in Chelsea and, in addition to the Dreamland Orchestra, features other popular local vintage-inspired entertainers includding Queen Esther and her Trio, The Minsky Sisters and accordianist/singer Nicole Renaud.
"Cupid Approved" cocktails, featuring St. Germain, will be served at a cash bar all night, including the La Rosette (Brut Rosé sparkling wine and St. Germain), and the signature St. Germain cocktail with club soda (on arrival guests are welcomed with a complimentary drink). Participants are encouraged to dress in black tie / evening period attire. Dance lessons for both singles and couples are available from Roddy Caravella beginning at 9:30, and guests receive a free portrait at the St. Germain Kissing Booth.
