The former Miami design district is being transformed form old warehouses into a global design and fashion center showcasing numerous luxury retailers, restaurants, museums, hotels, and a convention center.
There will be at least 12 public art museums and 15 restaurants added to this masterpiece, including the Perez Art Museum and the Miami Science Museum. The project is so enormous that a train route that runs from Orlando to Miami called All Aboard Florida Rail Service will be showcased in order to accommodate the numerous tourists that will visit. Retailers Bloomingdale's and Macy's have already signed on as well.
This would be a boon for those with the capital to invest in such a monstrous project commercially. Those who wish to invest on a smaller scale should consider buying into the numerous condo projects now underway downtown as the World City Center will be within walking distance of all of them and the American Airlines Arena.
