Cafe Bambini in North Miami Beach is a one-of-a-kind play space & cafe concept. This unique haven presents families with a place to relax, be entertained and become creatively inspired. And every attention has been paid to even the smallest of details--shoes aren't allowed inside the play area to protect the younger crawling guests, and the walls are all painted with modern, serene inspired images.
The Cafe offers food and entertainment options for both the grown-ups and their kids. The relatively healthy menu includes a full espresso bar, baked pastries, panini sandwiches, gourmet pizza, salads, fresh fruit smoothies, gelato ice cream, chicken nuggets and grilled cheese. Meanwhile, the 1,500 square foot play space caters to kids aged between zero and six with the infant section, pretend play, soft-play area, cozy library center, discovery center and Wii. And while the children are playing, moms are invited to come socialise or leaf through their favorite fashion glossy or gossip mag.
In addition, there is a large private room where most of the innovative classes--from puppet shows to kids' yoga--and customized parties take place. Cafe Bambini is a home away from home for both parents and children. Owners, Julie Saal and Jennifer Rojkes along with their refreshingly friendly and down-to-earth staff, make everyone feel welcomed upon arrival. The entire space was designed with kids in mind, but maintains a level of adult chic.
“As mothers, we felt there was a need for a restaurant/play concept where parents could relax and children could be entertained effortlessly," says owner Jennifer Rojkes. “At Cafe Bambini you can spend hours comfortably eating and relaxing."
