An armed man attempted to rob another man in Miami, Florida on Tuesday night, March 3. However, according to a report by The Miami Herald, the would-be robber got more than he was after when the victim turned the tables and shot him.
According to police, the incident happened in front of an apartment complex located at 7000 NW 15th Ave in Miami, around 7:30 in the evening. Police were called and responded to a report of gunshots. When police arrived at the scene, they found two men with gunshot wounds, one in critical condition.
Police confirm the would-be robber approached the man and demanded his belongings. The robber then shot the victim in the hand, resulting in a non-life-threatening wound. The victim then pulled out his own gun and shot his attacker several times. The attacker later died at a local hospital.
Neither man was identified. Police are investigating the initial shooting by the attacker and talking to witnesses.
