Miami International Boat Show weekend weather

It would be tough to find a better weekend for the Miami International Boat Show by Progressive. High temperatures will only be increasing throughout the weekend in the area. Friday’s high is looking to be around 80 while temperatures approaching 85 can be expected on Sunday. Sunscreen is a must, as UV indexes will be topping out at around 7 out of 10 throughout the weekend. Don’t expect rain at any point – though, short-lived showers are not completely out of the question in south Florida. It’s likely safe to leave your umbrellas at home – one less piece of baggage to lug around as you enjoy the show.

Nighttime temperatures should be relatively warm on Friday and Saturday, dropping down to the mid-upper 60s both nights. However, you may want to bring a jacket on Sunday evening as temperatures will plummet to the mid-50s overnight. The show will continue through Monday, which will bring cooler temperatures maxing out at only about 73 with little to no chance of precipitation.

Winds should be around 10-15 mph from approximately the south throughout the weekend, with winds shifting to the north on Monday after the cold front passes through.

5-day passes for the event are only $80 while single day passes $18 and two-day tickets are $32. If you have children 15 years of age and younger, they can enjoy the boats for free! Don’t forget that your ticket will include a free one-year subscription to one of the following magazines: Yachting, Boating, Salt Water Sportsman, Cruising World, TransWorld Surf or Flying. That’s a $7 value!

Enjoy the boat show, the beach, or whatever your plans may be! Stay safe.
