Miami Heat trade rumors now include Andrew Bynum of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now Miami Heat trade rumors suggest interest in the type of big man that could make the team very hard to score against. A report from CBS Sports on Saturday (Dec. 28) states that the Cavaliers may decide to deal their troubled center or simply waive him if something isn't figured out soon.
The Cavs made the move to suspend Bynum indefinitely, revealing that he isn't on the same page with the team or coaching staff. It's possible that the losing has started getting to him, potentially creating a situation where he could be dealt to a contender for the rest of the 2013-14 NBA season. In addition to the idea of becoming a teammate of LeBron James, it has been suggested that the LA Clippers and Boston Celtics would be a good fit for him. He could easily become the backup center to DeAndre Jordan with the Clippers.
Though there are definitely mentions of Andrew Bynum in new Miami Heat trade rumors, it's hard to envision something that the Cleveland Cavaliers would want from them. Draft picks would certainly work, but that becomes a risk that the two-time defending champions might not want to take. The franchise could also wait a bit, because if the Cavs cannot trade the former NBA All-Star, it is very likely that he either gets placed on waivers or simply released.
