Miami Heat rumors have a Dwyane Wade injury already hurting the team. An embarrassing loss by the Heat to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night (Oct. 30) certainly didn't help matters either. According to a report on the game, Wade had to sit out to rest two sore knees. That left the team at a disadvantage and 76ers rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams took full advantage.
On the night, Carter-Williams finished with 22 points, 12 assists, seven rebounds, and nine steals. The steals were the most amazing facet of his game, showing that he is a defensive force to be reckoned with in only his first NBA season. Moving forward, opposing teams are going to have to adjust to his style of play if they don't want to see similar turnover numbers like what happened in this game.
The 76ers actually trailed by nine points heading into the fourth quarter and it looked like this would be a typical game for the two-time defending NBA champions. That was before the meltdown took place and Philadelphia started playing like a team that really wanted to pull off the upset. They did just that, winning 114-110 and giving the home crows something to be ecstatic about.
More Miami Heat rumors are going to start up after the team lost to a roster that was projected by Las Vegas to only win 16 or 17 games all season. They simply gave the game away in the fourth quarter and showed that the roster isn't as deep as it needs to be if Dwyane Wade is going to keep sitting out games.
