Miami Heat rally past the New York Knicks

The MIami heat overcame a slow start to beat the New York Knicks 111-98 at Madison Square Garden to tie Milwaukee for the No.5 spot in the East. It is the Heat's sixth straight road victory.

Dwyane Wade scored 32 points and had five assists and five rebounds. Miami Heat fans when Wade left the game in the first half with a wrist injury before returning for the third quarter. Wade reached 2000 points for the season.

The KNicks were able to get an eight point lead mostly on the back of David Lee's ten points in the period. He ended the game with 26 points.

Danilo Gallinari had 19 points but was unable to deliver on defense as he was paired up against Dwyane Wade.

The Heat were able to recover in the second quarter to end the half with a 55-47 lead.

Udonis Haslem had 14 points and 10 rebounds to record his sixth straight double-figure rebound game for the first time in his career. The Head had another four players in double figures: Michael Beasley (16), Wright (14), Quentin Richardson (14), and Carlos Arroyo (12).

The Heat close out the season against the 76ers and New Jerset Nets as they try to secure the No.5 playoff post. Their schedule is much easier than the Bucks who play the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics, both teams which are in playoff contention.
