Miami Gay Men’s Chorus press release:
LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS! The boys of the Miami Gay Men's Chorus present a tribute to the boy groups that have kept us singing since the 50's. From the Village People to the Beatles to the Backstreet Boys, MGMC will present a concert that will showcase the music of those boys and their bands whose songs have made us fall in love, helped us through tough times, or simply have kept us jamming. But, do not expect to come to this concert to sit and listen. This will be the time to jump to your feet and dance, sing along and walk away saying "oh what a night!" So when you walk through the door, make sure you've brought someone dance with, someone to jam with and someone who's head you want on your shoulder. We know that when you say "bye, bye, bye", you will be glad to have spent an evening with us. Who loves you pretty baby?
In the grand tradition of the Miami Gay Men's Chorus our Spring Concert promises to be entertaining and provide an enjoyable evening of fun and music with a few surprises! MGMC, under the artistic direction of Anthony Cabrera will proudly return to our performance home at the beautifully renovated Art-Deco Colony Theater on Lincoln Road.
The Miami Gay Men's Chorus is an inclusive, community-based organization of gay men and gay-supporting people that inspires and changes lives through the power of music. With humor and heart, we proudly entertain our audiences while striving for artistic excellence.
