After going 5-0 just two weeks ago, Miami lost four of five this past week and took a tumble down the Baseball America rankings Monday as a result.

The Hurricanes fell from No. 13 to No. 25 after two losses to Georgia Tech, a loss to Stetson, and another loss to Bethune-Cookman. Their record now sits at 11-9 after a 1-4 week.

Miami now sits behind five other ACC teams in the rankings, with Florida State at No. 2, Virginia at No. 3, N.C. State at No. 10, Clemson at No. 13, and North Carolina at No. 17.

Next up for Miami is a home game against UCF Tuesday before traveling to Florida Gulf Coast to face the Eagles Wednesday. The Hurricanes defeated UCF 5-0 at Mark Light Field in 2013 thanks to an 11-strikeout gem by starter Bryan Radziewski. Miami didn’t face FGCU in 2013 but split its two meetings in 2012, picking up a 3-0 win on the road before losing 4-2 at home two months later.

Miami will then host Virginia this weekend for a three-game series that runs from Saturday to Monday. The Cavaliers took two of three from the Hurricanes at home a season ago.
