Yesterday, March 20, 2014, Miami Cigar & Co. announced plans to begin distributing the Viva República line of cigars beginning April 1, 2014 in the United States. Miami Cigar will also gain from bringing in Viva República cigar brand creator, Jason Holly. This should help replace the La Sirena cigar line they lost at the end of last year.
Viva República is based in Pennsylvania and is popular with a large number of patrons with their Smokemaster General Jason Holly who has developed a committed following. Holly has both a large retail location including a cigar bar founded in 2012 and owns the Rapture, Rapture Maduro and Guerrilla Warfare cigar brands.
Jason Wood from Miami Cigar said yesterday, “We plan to increase our emphasis on traditional channels,” he said, “It is time for the cigar industry to see the new Miami Cigar, the addition of (Jason) Holly is exactly what we needed to get a jump start to our 25th Anniversary campaign.”
Co-Founder of Miami Cigar,, Mariana Miranda said, “We are proud to be adding a growing new brand in the same year we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Even after two-plus decades and millions upon millions of cigars, we’re not ready to slow down.”

Miami Cigar Co is celebrating its 25th Year in Business as a distributor of premium cigars. Founded by Nestor and Mariana Miranda the company is currently run by Vice President Jason Wood. In addition to the Nestor Miranda brands the company also carries the Tatiana, Don Lino and Casa Miranda brands. MCC also serves as the exclusive United States distributor for La Aurora, S.A.
