The summer is steadily winding down and, needless to say, many folks have both 'fingers and toes' crossed hoping and praying that no hurricane come their way this season.
That said, many art and crafts aficionados (and bargain hunters) are quietly awaiting the onslaught of the fall season with two questions on their mind: (1) Where are the Arts and Crafts festivals this fall in South Florida? and (2) What kind of ‘good deal’ can I negotiate this year?
It is certainly not too premature to start planning ahead because families, and art aficionados alike, are almost always looking for week-end activities (now that the kids are back in school) in which the entire family can be involved.
If, on the other hand, you’re not based in this area but planning a week-end visit to Metropolitan Miami anytime between September and December, then you’d want to check out the Miami Herald’s Events Calendar for the remainder of 2013.
Some of the fall events this year, for example, include ARTIZANE, an Indie Craft Market which is quite an experience. The event will be held October 19 at the Art Deco Welcome Center on trendy Miami Beach. There is also the ever popular Antiques & Classics Art Show at the Cauley Square Village in South Miami on September 15 which is always a sight to see.
However, if your visit to Miami is just one stop of several in the State of Florida this coming fall season, then you should also check out the Fine Art Fair and Craft Show listing for the State of Florida in ArtsFairCalender.com.
In either case, planning ahead is essential if you and or your family want to experience the best of this falls arts and crafts experience in the Sun Shine State.
