Mi Casa Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Christine Marquez-Hudson made the following comments about State Farm and Mi Casa; “Mi Casa’s partnership with State Farm provides many benefits to our clients. Grant funding is vital to operate programs, and the involvement of State Farm employees as volunteers in our training programs allows individuals in our programs to access information and advice that would otherwise be financially out of reach.”

State Farm is not just providing some of the funding Mi Casa needs for its programs. Their employees are very active by volunteering in several areas as guest speakers, like State Farm Agent Jessika Aerni who is a speaker in the Bilingual Entrepreneurial Training Program. This program provides the necessary information needed by business owners when dealing with insurance issues. One of my favorite programs where I’ve been heavily involved is the small business entrepreneurial training which in the long run, positively impacts our entire community,”

Another one of Mi Casa’s programs, the Customer Service Career Training, has helped many local citizens like Faby who used the program when she found she had to quit a job due to health concerns. She was not able to keep up with her financial obligations and was not able to support herself or her 11 year old son. She attended the training met with one of Mi Casa’s financial coaches who taught her to budget her expenses and how to create a savings plan to where she was able to find a new job bettering her employment as a sales representative in a local wireless store in Aurora, Colorado.
