Kojima and Konami wasted no time in crafting Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the Sony PSP. The latest issue of Famitsu is reporting a March 18th release date for the title. During E3, Kojima and Konami formally announced the title where it was revealed along aside Metal Gear Solid: Rising, which will release on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Interestingly, Kojima is treating Peace Walker as a true installment of the franchise and has the MGS4 team developing it.
Peace Walker will tell the tale of Big Boss and unravel the mysteries surrounding him. Taking place after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, this is a game you need to experience to get the whole story of the franchise. With two demos available for the title in Japan, gamers have been testing the game out for several months now. While the majority of the story is a mystery, you can expect it'll have those patented Kojima story twists and will likely confuse many.
No North American release is known at this time, but it'll likely be in the summer of 2010.

One of WAY too many games coming out in the first 3 months of 2010. These guys really need to give this title more room to breath. I've lost track of most of the releases for the first 3 months of 2010. Let's see, those I can name without looking them up would be Dante's Inferno, western release of Bayonetta, ditto for Final Fantasy XIII, God of War III, Grand Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, and with MGS: Peace Walker and good lord that's still too many! Jeez!
Haha I have to agree with the OP, and while its better than a drought of good games..its definitely a bit overwhelming. With so many titles out, even now, I feel like i have to rush thru a game to play the next one in my back log... bearly getting a chance to truly enjoy it... I only played Uncharted 2 thru 1 time! Before i moved on to Katamari Forever, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and i still have to play Assassin's Creed II which is collecting dust at the moment.
