The hard hit South Florida construction industry will get a significant boost.
A huge planned development to be known as Metropica in Sunrise will create about 5,000 construction jobs over the next ten years, according to an article by Susannah Bryan in the April 25 Sun Sentinel.
"This great I mean great news. I have had a hard time finding work over the last few years and now I will probably have people calling me to offer a job," said Arnold Poole, a carpenter.
"I know I will applying for one of those jobs. I can't wait to get started," said Bernard Richardson, an electrician.
"Things are getting better for construction workers. I am hoping to work on this project," said Pablo Hernandez, a carpenter.
