You’re in luck. Now you can rub shoulders with designers, contractors, suppliers, and industry service companies at METROCON12, the largest design-focused exhibition in the southwest.

“METROCON has evolved into the nexus of our region’s diverse interior design community, attracting established practitioners, aspiring professionals and those interested in learning more about what the industry has to offer,” says Laura McDonald Stewart, RID, ASID, IIDA, LEED AP, and METROCON12 organizer.

Scheduled for August 9-10 at Dallas Market Hall, METROCON12 is presented through a partnership between the Texas Chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and the Texas / Oklahoma Chapter of IIDA (International Interior Design Association).

Put those dates on your calendar. METROCON12 is must-attend opportunity. A tradeshow and convention all rolled into one, the two-day event is open to professional designers and novice decorators alike. Lucky for us.

Vendors will show off the latest and greatest product, from flooring and cabinetry to windows, lighting, and furniture for both residential and commercial use.

A short list of local exhibitors includes Artisan Finishes, Blue Sky Glass Design, Brewster Wallcovering, Dallas Sight and Sound, Renaissance Collection, Ross Howard Designs, and Stone Solutions.

Whether your next project is a room remodel, outdoor kitchen or electronics installation, METROCON is a great place to gain inspiration and knowledge.

Held at Dallas Market Hall, 2200 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, METROCON12 will be open Thursday, August 9, 7a.m.-7p.m. and Friday, August 10, 7a.m.-3p.m. Registration is free for members of ASID and IIDA and $25 for non-members. Attendees may also register for continuing education classes covering a variety of design and industry topics. There is an additional fee of $10 for same day registration.
