'Metro Redux' coming to PS4 this summer

Metro Redux is coming to Sony Playstation 4 later this summer, as announced today on the Playstation Blog. Metro Redux is a collection of the previous Metro games, Metro 2033 and its sequel, Metro: Last Light. Improvements to Last Light's AI, gameplay, graphics, and gunplay are also being retrofitted into Metro 2033. This is the first time Metro 2033 will be available on a Playstation platform.

The collection boasts a 1080p graphical fidelity and 60 frames per second, which is sure to look good on Sony's current console. The two games will be made available on PSN for $24.99 each. A physical, boxed version can also be purchased in brick-and-mortar stores for $50.

No specific release date was given, and no plans to release the collection on the Playstation 3 were announced. Sony plans to roll out more information on the collection as the summer months pass.
