Deep Silver reintroduced gamers to the dark Russian underground of “Metro: Last Light” on March 19, when a new gameplay trailer was released for the game. Deep Silver picked up the post-apocalyptic franchise and its developer earlier from the THQ bankruptcy auction.

The new released trailer from this Tuesday once again takes players back into the metro tunnels of Moscow as the people there attempt to survive the bleak fall of civilization full of mutants, bandits, and toxic air on the surface that forces humanity underground. The “Metro: Last Light” Salvation trailer shows off life inside these new cities built deep in the subway system of Moscow.

Metro: Last Light” is set to release for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on May 14. Those who pre-order the title will get access to a modified Russian rifle inside the game as well as a new Ranger Mode which completely removes the game’s HUD. Gamers will also find less ammunition in this new challenging game mode.
