Metal nights are rare even at the most hip of alcohol-serving establishments. For this reason, when one pops up, it's worth supporting.
Apparently The Abbey Pub out in Katy, Texas -- near where paleolithic human remains were discovered earlier today -- is offering a metal night on Thursday nights.
It's worth making it out there to keep this rare event alive. Weekly bands, low cost alcohol, and metal over the PA are regular features. 8 PM until last call at 1:30 AM.
