Similar to the previous installments of the “Metal Gear Solid” series, players will be able to switch from the default third-person aiming to first-person. The system resembles “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker” the most.

Sean Eyestone also disclosed some information on the benefits on playing “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” ahead of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” He hinted that the hostages you rescue from the prologue will help you out in the main installment. If you rescue them, and put them on your helicopter, they will be able to help you in some way in the future.

The development team is expected to reveal more advantages towards playing “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” ahead of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” in the near future. The prologue will be launching in the North American region on March 21, 2014 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.

Konami Digital Entertainment still does not have a release date for “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,” which is also heading to the same consoles.
