A new gameplay sequence has been showcased for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” According to a report by Dual Shockers on Sept. 22, the latest media assets were released by Konami Digital Entertainment for this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Hideo Kojima showed off two gameplay segments from “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” at the convention. The first was a night-time mission that was previously shown on current-generation consoles. The second is a section that takes place in a late afternoon setting. Big Boss, who is also known as Naked Snake, is showcased sneaking around the enemy base. The game director previously disclosed that the next-generation versions of the upcoming title will feature several advantages over the PS3 and Xbox 360 iterations. The frame rate, lighting, shadows and resolution will be better on the PS4 and Xbox One. Several gameplay elements are also only possible on the next-generation platforms.
