New details have been revealed regarding one of the support characters in the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” According to a report from Gaming Bolt on April 27, Kazuhira Miller is going to be appearing once again in the follow-up to “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” However, he is expected to go through a major change following the events that occurred in the prologue.

Robin Atkin Downes, the voice actor behind the individual, told the Kojima Station that Kazuhira Miller is going to be seeking revenge in “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” As a result, the character, as well as his relationship with Snake, will be taken to “a whole different level.” Robin Atkin Downes also personally believed that the added dimension makes him feel “really good” about his role. You can find his full comments below (courtesy of Metal Gear Informer):

Kaz is going to be hell bent on revenge, and it takes his character to a whole different level, and his relationship with Snake. It just feels really good as an actor to be bringing those emotions up. There’s a lot of emotions going on. And it just seems to be covered up with that right now, because he can’t get in touch with them.

The aforesaid “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” was launched in the middle of last month on March 18 in North America. The prequel to “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” came out as both a digital download and a physical disc on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms. Konami Digital Entertainment previously included exclusive missions for both of the Playstation and Xbox platforms. However, the publisher will be making the extras available for all versions starting on May 1 at no additional costs.

Although no release date has been announced for “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,” an analyst believed that the sequel won’t be launching until late 2014 at the earliest for the same aforesaid platforms. Konami Digital Entertainment should be providing more details with the upcoming E3 2014 event that will take place in June.
