Hideo Kojima has added some more details in regards to "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." According to a report from Artistry in Games on May 16, the game director confirmed that the sequel will be featured at E3 2014 although he did not reveal how the announcement is going to be made. At E3 2013, a trailer for the game was shown during the very beginning of Microsoft Studios' media briefing.

Hideo Kojima also provided some hints at what fans to expect from the new trailer he has been preparing for "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." He suspects that many other videos shown during the event will be similar to a Hollywood action film with a lot of explosions and other eye-catching moments. The trailer for his upcoming title is different, however, as the game director revealed that there will also be less lines of dialogues.

He also revealed that many players from "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes" wanted to seek vengeance in the next installment of the series. As a result, the E3 2014 trailer should be more story-based as it will focus on what happened to Naked Snake and the rest of his team following the conclusion of the prologue. This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo is set to begin on June 10 although several major conferences are held the day before the event. You can find his full comments below:

Likewise I expect type of E3 trailers this year will be like Hollywood action movie organized with explosion, collapse, destruction, hanging, car-chase, magnificent vista or mob scene. But what I'm making is different from those mentioned above. Trying less lines/scripts. As got feedback from people played GZ that they wanna revenge in TPP, I'm adding hints of what happens to Snake & his team in E3 trailer.

Hideo Kojima has been making many memorable trailers for the "Metal Gear Solid" series and other games throughout the years for numerous gaming conventions. He apparently wanted to switch things up this time around with "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." The upcoming open-world stealth-based game does not have an official launch window although an analyst previously stated that it won't be coming out until late 2014 at the earliest. You can find a screen from "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes," which launched on March 18, from Konami's Facebook page near the top of this article.
