Hideo Kojima may be working on another new video game in addition to “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” and “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” According to a report from UGNN on Jan. 11, the game director recently disclosed that he had an experimental meeting and presentation in regards to a “super confidential project.”

Many fans immediately speculated that the new video game may be “Zone of the Enders 3.” Konami Digital Entertainment released “Zone of the Enders HD Collection,” which contains the remastered ports of the first two titles, in 2012 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. However, Hideo Kojima admitted last year that the development for the next installment has been suspended as the team behind the project was disbanded.

Others believed that the project may be a sequel to “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance,” which came out last year. The spin-off title ended up being received very well by critics and fans, selling a healthy amount of copies.

Hideo Kojima most likely won’t focus on the new video game until the completion of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” and “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” The former is due to come out on March 18th while the latter does not have an official release date.
