‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ returning character confirmed

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” will feature another returning character. According to a report from Gamepur on Feb. 28, Psycho Mantis is going to make a cameo in the prologue to “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.”

The psychic first appear in “Metal Gear Solid” as part of the Fox unit. He has the ability to read the mind of the players, which resulted in one of the more ingenious boss battles in gaming history. The same character also made a cameo during the debut trailer for “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.”

The latest issue of the Famitsu magazine confirmed that Psycho Mantis will be returning. However, it appears that he can only be seen in the “Déjà vu” mission, which is exclusive to the PS3 and PS4 versions of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” The Xbox 360 and Xbox One iterations are getting an exclusive operation based on Raiden instead. Along with meeting Psycho Mantis, PS3 and PS4 players also get to explore a setting reminisce of the Shadow Moses location from the first “Metal Gear Solid” game.

“Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” is priced at $19.99 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in addition to $29.99 on the PS4 and Xbox One. The video game should be coming to all four systems on March 28th.
