“Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” was apparently leaked early ahead of its formal launch date. According to a report from Gamepur on March 12, Hideo Kojima confirmed that some copies went on sale in advance while adding that the video game comes with several features that add replay value. You can check out his comments on the leak below:
Ground Zeroes isn’t a linear game, and it’s a real sneaking simulator that provides a high degree of freedom. You can play any numbers of times and play style varies from person to person. This means that it’s very compatible with the share button. But seeing it demonstrated by an early leak wasn’t my intention.
Kenichiro Imaizumi also commented on the early release, stating that the lucky fans should just enjoy the game and not spoil anything for the rest of the community that will be waiting until the official release date. You can find some “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” images in the slideshow located to the left of this article and the comments from the senior producer below:
Dear Sir/Madam, I know some people has already got GZ. Just enjoy but DO NOT spoil. There’re many fans are waiting for this for long time.
One of the fans who got an early copy revealed the installation size for the PS4 version of the open-world action-adventure video game. Gamepur reported that the software product only takes up 3913 MB of free space on the hard disk drive, which is quite small for a big-budget title. In comaprison, “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots comes with a 9027 MB installation.
Despite the broken street date, Konami Digital Entertainment is still insisting that “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” won’t be made widely available until March 18 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
