‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ pre-order ‘Phantom Pain’ DLC details posted

Several retailers are offering pre-order DLC bonuses for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” According to a report from Explosion on Jan. 31, however, the bonuses will be added to “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” instead of its prologue.

Geo will be giving away a special in-game weapon for the main installment of the series with pre-orders for “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” Tsutaya is also offering a staff member for the Mother Base in “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.”

Konami Digital Entertainment previously stated that “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” will introduce players to the story and gameplay of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” The mainline installment features several elements not included in the prologue such as the aforesaid Mother Base where players can recruit and build an site for operations.

The pre-order bonus DLC packs for “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” have only been announced for Japanese retailers. The prologue will be released first for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in North America on March 18. The Japanese region will be getting the product two days later.
