‘Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes’ limited edition western release update posted

Hideo Kojima has posted a brief update in regards to a western release of the limited edition for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” According to a report from Metal Gear Informer on Dec. 2, the game director disclosed that he had a meeting with Steve Key, the brand manager responsible for the European branch of Konami Digital Entertainment, while on a trip in the United Kingdom.

Hideo Kojima disclosed that one of the topics discussed was about the European release of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” Steve Key asked the game director if a limited edition of the open-world action-adventure video game will be coming out in the west along with the previously-announced Japanese release. Based on the conversation, Konami Digital Entertainment could be planning a different limited edition for the European release of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” when compared to the premium bundles being offered to Japanese customers.

The prologue to “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is scheduled to launch worldwide in the spring of 2014 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” will be released through retailers and digitally on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace.
