‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ exclusive ‘Phantom Pain’ DLC details posted “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” will be getting DLC based on “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” According to a report from Metal Gear Informer on Feb. 25, Konami Digital Entertainment revealed that players who purchase the original copies of the prologue are going to get “additional resources” for use in the Mother Base.

A code will be released for the first run of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” The same voucher can also be downloaded along with the digital version of the game on the Playstation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Mother Base is a element that was introduced in the series with “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.” With the new feature, players were able to recruit computer-controlled characters into their organization. As the number of personnel and the size of the base increases, Big Boss would receive new items, weapons and other bonuses.

The new Mother Base will be featured in “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.” It is also expected to play a “central role” in “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” with the characters recruited from the prologue can be transferred to the mainline installment.

March 18th in the official launch date for “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes,” which is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
