Hideo Kojima recently revealed that he made a visit to the Los Angeles branch of Kojima Productions. According to several messages from his Twitter page on Oct. 10, the game director behind “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” disclosed that the purpose of his trip was to check the progress of “Metal Gear Solid Online.”
The Tokyo office of Kojima Productions is responsible for the single-player campaign of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.” For the multiplayer mode, Hideo Kojima decided to create a western studio. The game director shared several photos of the internal and external views of the Los Angeles branch.
He also provided some images of Julien (a programmer from the development team), Thomas (the pet bunny mascot) and Kiefer Sutherland (the new voice actor of Snake). You can check out the photos, as well as some screens from the forthcoming open-world action-adventure title, in the slideshow near the top of this article.
“Metal Gear Solid Online” first appeared with the release of “Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence” on the Playstation 2. The multiplayer mode was also added to “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” and “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.”
