'Metal Gear Solid 5' or 'The Phantom Pain' to unleash new trailer (Photos)

Many people have believed all along that the recently announced game "The Phantom Pain" is actually "Metal Gear Solid 5," and some new evidence has surfaced that points to this very thing being confirmed in a matter of weeks.

According to a report from GamingEverything on Friday, news of a new trailer coming that would finally reveal answers to the countless questions people have had about "The Phantom Pain" and "Metal Gear Solid 5."

Moby Dick Studio "CEO" Joakim Mogren did an interview recently where he revealed information about a new "Phantom Pain" trailer coming at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco.

Mogren said, "I can confirm that [the trailer] will answer all of your questions."

Some of the pictures that Mogren showed off during the interview apparently had FOX Engine logos on them.

For those who do not know, FOX Engine has been created by Kojima Productions, and this points to what many have suspected all along.

The conclusion is that "The Phantom Pain" is actually in fact "Metal Gear Solid 5." Kojima and others have dodged this subject since the first trailer hit back during the Video Game Awards in December.

In addition to this, Hideo Kojima did confirm that he is heading to GDC as well to unveil a new trailer of his own.

This smells like the viral marketing campaign everyone thought it initially was. Many are now seriously thinking that "Metal Gear Solid 5" is "The Phantom Pain" and it will be hitting the Xbox 720 and PS4.

The new photos that were revealed can be checked out in the slideshow above, just beware the resolution on them is extremely low.
